Specialist in the role of examples and experience in reasoning;
the use of encapsulated experience, or "cases," to inform
planning, problem solving, and the control of action. Specific
research interests include the application of artificial intelligence
to human reasoning and information retrieval as well as development
of computational models for sensibility and intellectual processes.
